CreditLadder is proud to reveal that it won the Innovation in Credit prize at this year’s Credit & Collections Awards held in Stratford upon Avon on 13th September.
Collected on stage (pictured, above) by our unusually dapper Product Manager Jagjit Sandhu during a gala dinner and awards ceremony, we fought off competition from several leading tech players including digital sales promotion platform Jaywing, invoice service Nimbla and financial data sharing platform Validis.
We were one of 18 winners across four categories of entry including credit, collections and innovation.
The Credit & Collections Technology Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the UK credit and collections industry.
Now in its second year, the awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts who examine excellence solutions in the different categories.
“The aim for the Credit & Collection Technology Awards is to work towards creating an industry benchmark for technology and innovation,” says Colin White, Director of Credit Connect who devised the awards concept.
Technological innovation
“The Awards were launched to highlight how technological innovation is helping to enhance best customer outcome.”
The evening was hosted by The Credit Services Association, whose Presidents says: “In 10 years’ time the industry will be virtually unrecognisable from where we are today, with technology and AI replacing large parts of our operations, freeing up agent time for more quality customer engagement.”
Sheraz Dar, CEO of CreditLadder.co.uk, says:"We have covered a lot of ground in a very short space of time from fledgling start-up to established credit innovator and naturally we're thrilled that the Credit & Collections Awards have recognised this.
"Many people at the ceremony were also keen to let us know they have been watching CreditLadders' progress since we launched two years ago and expect even greater things from us.
"I would also like to thank our investors, the CreditLadder team and our wider community of supporters all of whom have been instrumental in making CreditLadder a success."
